WEF thanks New England 65+ Runners Club

The pandemic did not stop the New England 65+ Runners Club from making their annual donation to WEF. The Run for All Ages will return November 6, 2021, renamed for race founder, Jerry Panarese, lost to COVID-19 in April.

5th grader donates $1,200 to WEF through the gift of his art

George Carroll of Greenwood, and 5th grader at Galvin, donated $1,200 to the Wakefield Educational Foundation (WEF) this summer through the sales of his custom Simpson-esque portraits.

WEF awards grant of $25,000 to WPS

The WEF Board of Directors voted to award a $25,000 grant, its largest ever, to the Wakefield Public Schools to support enhanced remote learning through the purchase of 40 portable Video Collaboration Systems.
